The halls of Fitger’s will be filled with local pet-related service businesses:
- Veterinarians
- Groomers
- Photographers
- Trainers
- Boarding kennels
- Specialty services
- Pet sitters
- Rescue organizations
- And so much more!
Find out what is available for your fur babies and have a chance to meet the faces behind the places.
This is a free event for all, so bring your dogs and come say, “hi” and enter your pup in the contests (sign them up early)!
Cutest Couple Photo Contest: Looking for the cutest couple of the Twin Ports!
- Photo must be a dog with either another pet or person
- Please only one photo per couple
- No duplicate photos from past contests will be allowed
- Submit photo to fidosphotos@gmail.com with names of those in the photo and a phone number
- Photos will be posted in A Place for Fido and voted on by the public during the Canine Carnival event
- April 28th is the deadline for submissions.
Due to the popularity of this contest, the contest is only available to the first 50 photo submissions, so submit early!
Other contests:
Food Toss
- Food Toss contest starts at 12:30 in the Courtyard
- Toss food sample bags into bowls to score the most points
- Contestant with the most points wins!
Thank goodness the food is in bags, otherwise how much of it would make it into the bowl?
Ice Cream Eating Contest
- Starts at 1:30 pm in the Courtyard
- Dogs will be given a cup of frozen yogurt
- The dog who finishes first wins!
- Contest open to the first 15 entries
